Other Furniture® was responsible for the design and renovation of a two bedroom apartment at Tiong Bahru Heritage Neighborhood in Singapore. A young family with two kids was looking for a contemporary design with high demand on practical solutions. The concept was based on light colored textures and contrasting concrete look alike finishes. The requirement by the client was to achieve a pleasant living ambience in modern Scandinavian style. As space was a constraint, we came up with a few creative space saving ideas. One of the highlighted innovations that we have designed was the installation of a foldable desk to maximize the utilization of the bay window ledge. The final result confirms that distinctive layout planning can extensively improve the quality of living for the owner and his family.
