This unique office space for the investment company Open Space Ventures is located in the historical shophouse near Central Business District (CBD) in Singapore. The project was created in collaboration with leading Singaporean design studio Grey Canopy. Other Furniture® was responsible for all carpentry works and designing of loose furniture. The concept vision was to provide an informal user-centric space for business meetings and creative ideas sharing. Materials and colors were thoughtfully selected to match a modern working ambience.
We used specially manufactured wall panels with additional metal racks to add a touch of industrial feel. High table with kitchen corner at site is fully made of solid mahogany wood and high-quality quartz. The storage cabinets and drawers were made from solid wood as well. This Project is a validation that out of the box design approach to work space environment can result in exceptional stimulation of creative thinking and hence enhance users for better work performances.
